Description
A rag doll repairs her body by candlelight. Her stuffing has outgrown her body, so she sews over her burst seams with a needle and thread. This process the doll goes through relates to weight gain in humans, stretch marks are skin’s equivalent to popped seams. Stitching fabric is a more literal depiction of self-care and body acceptance.
