This vase represents the downfalls of hubris and how the myth of Arachne exhibits this idea. Throughout my artwork, I analyzed the flaws of humanity and how ancient stories are altered to fit the societal norms of current generations. I also explored the use of texture and form to convey a meaningful narrative. I believe that if society is able to recognize our flaws instead of concealing them, we will grow into a more accepting population.
