This photograph was taken in Baldwin City, KS, just south of Lawrence. I had been watching this fox for a while, and learned that it was a part of a family with 3 kits. Despite the fox's apparent blindness in one eye, it still provided food and hunted for its family. This photo shows the resilience required by parents of all species to care for their families.
