Namu (나무) means “tree” in Korean and inspired this photo montage-textual art piece. The trunk of the trees is created from actual tree trunks while the leaves come from stacked images of bushes. I play with the idea of what makes up an object as this artwork is many things: bush + bark; bush + bark = tree.
