Academia Sinica Council and China’s Ministry of Education on promoting Science Research to the Chairman of KMT

This 1944 document is the introductory page of a memorandum sent by Academia Sinica's governing council to China's Ministry of Education regarding a set of initiatives proposed by Academia Sinica to help foster scientific research in China. Academia Sinica was China's top academic research academy. Note that the document is signed by the President of Academia Sinica, and also has the imprint of the academy's seal. The original is housed in the Academia Sinica files (393-360) at the Second Historical Archive in Nanjing China. I located and copied the document during a visit to the archive in May 2011.
