Description
Captivated depicts my childhood self roaming the streets of New York. Under an aclove on Bethesda Terrace, I hide behind a column to watch a musician perform. I was inspired by “being in the moment” when creating this piece because like art, music is an escape for the mind to roam freely to let oneself feel meaning. The instrument used shows how music can have no words but it is the melody that captivates our attention.
