The mirror reflects more than just my face—it reflects my agency, my artistry, and the small, intentional ways I reclaim my image as my own. Society often dictates beauty as performance, but here, the act is private, personal, and deeply mine. This piece challenges the idea that makeup is only for external validation, instead celebrating it as an extension of self, a quiet power, a moment of becoming.
