Description

This piece utilizes youthful symbols united with depictions of a tarot card to reflect my coming of age experience. The Page of Wands is a tarot card, representing courage and new beginnings. A bunny portrays the youthful nature of the Page tarot cards. It holds a pink marker to its chest, keeping its labor of love close. My childhood would be incomplete without my fascination with creating art. The flowing brushwork reflects the unexpected flow from childhood to adulthood. The unbroken nature of maturing is mitigated by the things we love.
