In response, I shot these photos on Samsung SCH-S380C, a thirteen year old low-end cell phone. This type of technology is plentiful (most people have something similar lying around), and often ends up as e-waste, as obsolescence has made them virtually useless to the average person. I aim to illustrate the unique results that are possible without needing to purchase a new product or engage in elitism. I chose to arrange a variety of shots to showcase the approach itself (rather than highlight a particular composition) and placed them in a recycled frame as a further commitment to reuse and limiting environmental impact.
