I used not only eye catching colors in his outline for a good contrast but also to show the complex nature of the vector and all the small details that could be over looked. Dave was started at the end of my sophomore year in high school and took till mid junior year to finish. Dave was made solely in adobe illustrator and is based off an image by Jason Koerner of the lead singer of glass animals, Dave Bayley. The piece took roughly 55 hours to complete.
