Title A name given to the resource No Sense of Direction Subject The topic of the resource LibArt 2023 Description An account of the resource The entire meaning of "No Sense of Direction" follows with a directionless head guiding the viewer's eyes to a focal point on the center of the canvas. From various forms and contrasting size proportions, the presence of balance showcases a symphony of shapes. The enlarged snake-head poking from the right side creates a progression of patterns, repetition, and balance with the other geometric and organic shape. Together, the position less forms float around in different areas, but create a harmonic movement of an actual snake gliding through the frame. The choice of the snake's appearance involves an abstract perspective with the tails swirl and whole body curved in no clear direction. The unknown male figure stands near the far left edge and is kneeling with a curious look upon his face. This anonymous man represents humanity's wonder of the near future as more of civilization slowly becomes modernized. Title A name given to the resource Mother's Nature Subject The topic of the resource LibArt 2023 Description An account of the resource "Mother's Nature" depicts a woman's face manipulated into combining with naturalistic aspects such as a cliff, tree, cave, and the ocean. Two recognizable animals of an owl and shark come into view with a sense of movement happening in their body language. The three minor figures blending in the background represent humanity's engagement with nature throughout history. The feminine face establishes a motherly aspect since she keeps these animals near her in the frame. The crumbleness of the cave and lower area of the face present losing bits of nature throughout time as issues of climate change continue to rise. Presenting the head itself displays a sense of drama with the viewer only seeing from the perspective of the headless dog. The rest of the scattered shapes are from the body of the animal, but close into the head as if it was a source of light. The saturated colors make the eyes pupil clear with showcasing it's direction to the far left, staring off from the viewer's presence. This represents how our companions can vision their own world differently than we do and reaching to expand upon that worldview.
