Title A name given to the resource Aztec Afterlife Flight Attendant Subject The topic of the resource LibArt 2025 Description An account of the resource For this piece, I created an inventory for a character I made up based around Aztec mythology. This character is a flight attendant, bringing souls to the afterlife in the Sun. I was inspired by the gods Huitzilopochtli (hummingbird) and Quetzalcoatl (feathered serpent), who both are gods of the sun and afterlife. Throughout the designs of the objects, I have included symbols and imagery from Aztec mythology and culture; reincarnation into hummingbirds, traditional foods and drinks, clothing and patterns, and style of rendering. I worked on mastering his painting style and replicating it with soft pastels. Of course, instead of a portrait of Ducreux, I have replaced the Frenchman with a fox.
