I wanted to comment on how forced or obsessive productivity can be its own form of self-harm, demonstrating the ease of damage through the wax figure and her alteration due to the lighter's flame.

This piece was originally submitted for the Kemper Teen's Once Upon a Teen online art exhibition in 2022, portraying the villain of my own personal story. The dragon-inspired clock monsters are an allusion to the classical battles seen in mythology and folktales, attaching my own struggle with time management it to their epic conflicts.
