This photograph was taken in Baldwin City, KS, just south of Lawrence. I had been watching this fox for a while, and learned that it was a part of a family with 3 kits. Despite the fox's apparent blindness in one eye, it still provided food and hunted for its family. This photo shows the resilience required by parents of all species to care for their families. Title A name given to the resource Neavergale Subject The topic of the resource LibArt 2025 Description An account of the resource This piece is a ceramic bust meant to resemble a character from a story I have developed over three years. The knight depicted is an aspect of time known as its guardian; his name is Neavergale. I loved creating this piece, which is my most ambitious ceramic work. The color and styling took over three weeks to design and implement, with countless mistakes made along the way. I used regular stoneware clay, beginning with a square hollow base, and worked my way up, ensuring that balance was maintained with the immense weight of the work. The glazework utilized a base of temoku, with white, red, yellow, black, blue, and purple underglaze to create the speckled star patterns.
