The set of photographs was based on the real fears that I found shared between people in my life, who were majority women, that shared they had fears of being kidnapped, stalked and followed. This photo focuses the viewer in the position of the one doing the watching. The subject of the photo is staring directly into the camera, expression neutral, and allows the viewer to interpret this in their own way. Does the subject care that the camera is out there? Are they worried? Are they in fear? Other photographs in this set put a focus on the lack of intentions and that unknown variable of the subject and how they could bring the viewer harm, but here there is a shift to the focus of the one doing the watching.</text>

This photograph is part of a set of 10 that dives into how different fears can be extremely personal, but also so shared among us. The set of photographs was based on the real fears that I found shared between people in my life, who were majority women, that shared they had fears of being kidnapped, stalked and followed; On top of the idea of the unknown and the dark. This photo focuses on the fear of the dark, the unknown and how there is so much out in the world that we don't know the intentions of. There is a focus on the idea that there is someone in a place they aren't supposed to be.</text>
