I’m interested in suggesting a new hierarchy by subverting the status of things. By changing the size of microorganisms which are seemed to be the smallest substance, I want this subversion to reaffirm our relationship with materials.

This is a fanart piece I did based on the Lantern Rite event in a game called Genshin Impact. The piece includes characters in the game that were featured in the event. I wanted this fanart to have the same warm feeling I had while playing the event.

Inspired by the stone itself, this piece is an interpretation of connecting with your origins. For this character, her origins are of water and rock, partially unknown to this world. It is never too late to reconnect with your roots.
