This project was an exploration of poster design using an imaginary band name. It was also an opportunity to work with a risograph printer, and explore the uses and limitations it creates.

This is what I imagine the Little Red Hen's Cafe would be like if she had more help: full of wonderful food and content customers! I wanted to keep the watercolor portion simple and use warm browns to mimic freshly baked bread and coffee.

This was part of a semester-long project of classic book covers.

With this painting my goal was to experiment with the oil medium, capturing reflecting light and the texture of my cat's fur. I also wanted to incorporate my own personal longing for a rural lifestyle, and how an animal may yearn to be free as well.

This is one of my favorite pieces of my work. I was really excited to eat this lollipop and then I dropped it on the floor instantly. I thought it was a great opportunity to draw something from my own life. I thought the way it crumbled was beautiful…
