While visiting the natural history museum this porcupine caught my attention. The frontal view and white-tipped quills made creating the silhouette with dark charcoal an interesting challenge.

I created this image for an online contest around the theme portal of chaos. I was also trying a new mix of traditional and digital art, and I really loved the results.
