Artist statement: This work was created as homework for an illustration class last semester. I wanted to practice pen and ink work

Artist statement: This was done for a drawing media class last year in order to practice pastel.

I created this as a background for an animation I was creating. I wanted to create a feel of adventure and anticipation.

My goal with this one was to really push shape and stylization. I really enjoyed working on it and seeing just how far I could take it.

I really enjoyed experimenting with this one. I was playing with line and shape a lot and I was really pushing my watercolor technic.

This project is a one-page mini-comic I did as a personal project, I wanted to focus on telling a story visually.

I created this image for an online contest around the theme portal of chaos. I was also trying a new mix of traditional and digital art, and I really loved the results.
