Tennis

As far back as 1892, tennis has been played by women attending KU. It was one of the original sports played in the Women’s Athletic Association in 1912. The team won conference championships in 1979 and 1992-1996. There have been five conference singles and doubles championships in team history. The doubles team of Rebecca Jensen and Nora Koves were the NCAA national champions in 1994.
