I remember feeling overwhelmed with emotions as I viewed the city from the top of City Hall in Kansas City, it was so incredibly different from this far up, so peaceful and quiet. Walking around the observation deck, I could see the city in all of its glory, a place that was once just a place to me, now felt more like a friend I was getting to know, discovering things I'd never even heard of, seeing places that brought back nostalgia. It was beautiful and as I stood on that observation deck, I knew that what I'd experienced would remain in my memories forever.
