Neighborhood Potluck

My piece is a depiction of a potluck bringing together the residents of the neighborhood throwing it. I created a warm and cohesive color palette and a repeated flow in the lines and angles of the crowd, representing the unity and happiness the people were feeling being together. To me, the theme of embracing our differences means community involvement and contented togetherness in day-to-day events and places.
