This piece depicts the “anger” stage in the grieving process. The raw, unfiltered portrayal of the mouth, with its strained muscles, captures the internal struggle of grappling with overwhelming emotions. The absence of words emphasizes the inability to articulate the depth of pain and anger felt during the grieving journey. Through this painting, I confront the anger stage of grief head-on, acknowledging its presence and significance in the healing process. By giving visual form to these turbulent emotions, I seek to create a space for viewers to confront and explore their own experiences of anger and loss.
