This piece is inspired by the angels described in Revelation 4 of the Bible and is representing how Christ was depicted in the four gospels. Matthew- bold and strong like a lion, Mark- servant like the ox, Luke- Human and humble as a man and John- leader like the eagle. These different representations are a theory of John’s visions. This piece is designed to be hung from the ceiling to be coming down from heaven. One of the winds is made on a hung so it gives it a flapping kind of movement.
