As the school year dawned on me, I found myself missing the feeling of summer. I missed the brightness of the sun, the feeling of the pool's water against my skin, and the pure joy felt by the lack of responsibilities. This work was made to push my skills as an illustrator, as well as to offer myself a way to wind down before the fall semester. I poured the last bit of summer in me into this piece, so I could be ready for a new chapter.
