Mason Finley, 2016 & 2020
Mason Finley was a member of the KU Track and Field team from 2010 to 2012. At the 2016 Kansas Relays Finely broke the 40-year old discus record with throw of 210.2 feet. He went on to won the discus competition at the US Olympic Trails in 2016. Finley finished in 11th place at the Rio Olympics. Mason Finley won the discus competition at the US Olympic Trails in 2020 for the second time. He finished 23rd at the 2020 Tokyo games.

Liana Salazar, 2012, 2016, & 2024
Liana Salazar started her soccer, or football, career at KU in 2011. While at KU, Salazar received numerous academic onors and was named to the to the 2011 Big 12 All-Newcomer Team and the 2015 NSCAA All-Central first team. In 2014 she won the Crimson Climb Award. Prior to coming to KU, Salazar played for her country, Colombia, in the U17 and U20 World Cups, as well as in the 2011 World Cup. Liana Salazar played on the Colombian Olympic soccer teams at both the 2012 London and 2016 Rio games.

Sharon Lokedi, 2024
Sharon Lokedi began running when she was 14 years old in her home country of Kenya to go to school that was several kilometers from where her family lived. She would go on to letter four times in high school. During her career at KU, 2015-2019, Lokedi was a 10-time All American and won the 2018 NCAA 10,000 meter title. She was also named the Big 12 Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Year for two consecutive years. Sharon Lokedi won her debut marathon at the New York City Marathon in November 2022. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Lokedi will compete in her first Olympic marathon for Kenya.
