Description
In this piece I delve into the emotion of bargaining within the context of grief. The figure depicted with bowed head and clasped hands reflects the internal negotiation and pleading that often accompany the bargaining stage of grieving. The tightly interlocked fingers symbolize a desperate attempt to regain control or make sense of the loss, as if bargaining with fate itself. The downturned gaze and furrowed brow convey a sense of deep contemplation and introspection, as the individual grapples with unanswered questions and unfulfilled wishes. Through subtle nuances of expression and composition, I aim to evoke the complexity of emotions inherent in the bargaining stage, from moments of hopeful optimism to overwhelming feelings of vulnerability and uncertainty.
