Guided Tour of Exhibit

"To the Great Variety of Readers,” an exhibition that explores the historical and literary legacy of the first printed edition of Shakespeare’s collected works, the first of a new series highlighting collaborations between researchers and the library's special collections, opened Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023, with an address from David M. Bergeron, Professor Emeritus of English titled, “Shakespeare: Whole Volumes in Folio.” The exhibit remained open to the public throughout the fall semester. Bergeron offers a glimpse at the exhibit and the historical context behind the First Folio in this guided tour.
