In this print, a reversal of roles is seen between the hanging feet and the the clothes piled up on the ground. Here I am thinking of feet as vessels in in of themselves, not just part of a vessel, our body. The purpose of feet for those who constantly use them for work, migration or running away from a war is what drove this concept of hanging feet. It is kind of a humorous image, the idea of someone taking off their feet for the day and hanging them to "rest", placing great importance on them, as the clothes are disregarded. However that highlights the struggles of those who have no other choice but to constantly "abuse" their feet to survive.
