Anti-Draft Week
The National Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam sponsored a National Anti-Draft Week in several U.S. cities. Across the county several draft offices were closed by sit-ins. KU students were urged to boycott classes from March 12-18 in protest of the draft. On March 15, 1970 about 50 people picketed the Lawrence Selective Service office.
