Fundraising Events
In what would become a long-standing tradition of fundraising, the WAA held several events to raise money for women’s participation in intercollegiate athletics. These events included the Jay Walk and the Indoor Circus.
Jay Walk
The Jay Walk was an annual dance held by the WAA.

Indoor Circus
The Physical Education Department’s Indoor Circus was another fundraiser to support the activities of the WAA. The circus began in 1912.
