Jack Hokeah

Jack Hokeah’s paintings draw cultural traditions, portraying scenes of Kiowa life with elegant color. Outside of painting, he was also a celebrated dancer and singer. Later in life he worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and created murals for the Santa Fe Indian School in Santa Fe, NM.
