Rowing
Rowing became an official varsity sport at KU in 1995, and Rob Catloth was hired as the head coach. In 2009, KU joined Conference USA as an affiliate. Over the years, boats have won six Big 12 championships, three Conference USA championships, and two NCAA regionals. Rowing team boats won national championships in 1994 and 2002.
